Here's the view from our hotel on the Atlantic ocean at Myrtle Beach, SC.
A snowstorm when we left Minnesota, and another one on the way. We're just gunna stay here and enjoy the warmth a few more days.

Redneck Roller Coaster

I don't think I have the smarts (or the ambition) to build what this guy built.
In fact, I haven't even figured out how to post You-Tube videos here yet, so here's the link. It's pretty amazing, especially his little "How I did it" video.

Sweet Thaw!

Makes me want to sing! According to the local weatherman, it got above freezing here today for the first time in 38 days. I had pretty much given up on climate change coming to the rescue, but at any rate 34 degrees felt wonderful!

Tim Hardaway

How far will it go?
The intolerance of intolerance seems to know no bounds. I'm not big on basketball, and I didn't even know who Tim Hardaway was until I heard the story.

Interesting to note: On a Miami radio show Wednesday, "Hardaway was asked how he would interact with a gay teammate."

The PC police are all up in arms over a guy answering a direct question he was asked by a reporter. If you don't want to know the answer, don't ask the question. I gotta think the guy was set up. Why else would you ask that question? Of course, I'm not advocating hatred, but would they rather live in a society where nobody can speak the truth? We all "say" we agree with Big Brother, because we're not allowed to say what we really think. Who would've thought the New Fascism would be ushered in by the liberals? Huh.

I've Said It Before

I've said it before, and although I've been burned, I'm gunna say it again:
The Chicago Bears are going down today!
It's not that they suck, they're just not as good as everybody thinks. Yes they're in the Super Bowl, but only because there was no competition in the NFC. And in case you didn't know it, Peyton Manning is amazing!
