So Long, Escort

After driving full-sized 4x4 pickups since 1986, I wound up driving a Ford Escort since junking my last truck in the winter of '05.

But with the purchase of a Chevy S-10 on Thursday I'm riding high again, though not quite as high, since it's a 2-wheel drive itsy-bitsy S-10. But it'll get better gas mileage than my other trucks, so I got that going for me.

Well, you know I am happy you're driving truck... but was that really the BEST you could do?

Why not some gas-sucking man-truck like my Cleezer!

Been there, done that.
I must be turning "green" you know, thinking about the environment and stuff.

Or poor. At 3 bucks a gallon (USD) it was either a Ranger or an S-10. I sure would have loved a 4x4 though.

Don't listen to kerux, derifter. I think it's a very pretty truck. You should be very proud. ;)

Man, I'm cruising in a Ford Escort right now, too. I had to sell my Volkswagon Jetta to save some money up for seminary this semester. I'm not enjoying it, but this too shall pass.

One day I'll have a pimped out ride like derifter...

You excited about Randy Moss coming back to town?

You won't be passing much in that Escort, my friend!
Ah they're not bad cars, they're just not trucks.

Randy WHO?
Oh yeah, Moss. He used to be really good or something didn't he, a long long time ago?
