Pontiac GTO Discontinued (Again)

According to GMPlanet, this will be the last year for GTO's. I say not a moment too soon. Maybe even a couple years too late. Sometimes, you just gotta leave well enough alone.

But also according to GMPlanet, someone at General Motors doesn't know what that means, as plans are already in the works for the next generation of GTO's. Let it go boys, just let it go.

I think the problem is the spelling. It's "GTA--Greater Toronto Area", not "Orea."

Wow, the Greater Toronto Area has been discontinued too?? Something must be done! Where will you live?

No, no... the car is being discontinued because they finally realized they've been spelling its name wrong all these years.

How embarassing! Of course they'd have to come up with some lame excuse about sales being down or something, though.

Why would they discontinue your town just because General Motors realized they were spelling "Toronto" wrong? You Canadians sure have a funny way of thinking.

(I wonder how much longer I can keep this going before you realize I'm pulling your leg.) Maybe if they'd just spell it out instead of abbreviating it.
